Around 113 sisters gathered on Sunday evening, February 22nd at the Kearney Building for a Stake Relief Society fireside. The program opened with four presentations highlighting remarkable women of faith from the past — Eve (Kari Campbell), the mother of the stripling warriors (Cynthia Bischoff), the wife of King Lamoni (Rebecca Clemens), and Lucy Mack Smith (Nina Shurtleff). Each story offered a glimpse into the courage, devotion, and discipleship of these beloved sisters.
A musical number, “Daughter of Light,” followed, performed by Leah Lamb, Monica Fawson, Savannah Hahn, and Jentrie Astorga, with Bethany Owens accompanying. Their voices added a sweet and reverent spirit to the meeting.
Next, the sisters enjoyed a fun video presentation made from photos submitted by members of the stake. The slideshow highlighted moments of service, ministering, temple attendance, activities, exercise, and everyday discipleship — a joyful reminder of the goodness happening all around us.
To close the meeting, Chrissy Anderson, Stake Relief Society President, and David Mayne, Stake President, each shared brief and heartfelt messages.
Afterward, everyone moved to the cultural hall to enjoy fruit cups, a chocolate fountain, and warm fellowship. It was a lovely evening filled with connection, inspiration, and sisterhood.
