What was your favorite part of serving a mission?
My favorite part of serving my mission was learning to love the people I served and served with. The connections I made in Brazil are very sacred to me.
What will you miss most about serving a mission, and how would you like to incorporate that into your life after serving a full-time mission?Â
I will miss the simplicity of my life at the time and the scheduled hour of scripture study. I want to continue to strive for a simple life, always having a spot for the Lord.Â
Is there anything you would encourage future missionaries to do to prepare for serving a mission?
Read your scriptures and study Preach my Gospel! Becoming very comfortable with anything outside of your comfort zone.
How has serving a mission helped you draw closer to Christ?
My mission humbled me and gave me the knowledge of my Savior. My full time service showed me what the gospel has to offer each of us
Please share a story from your missionary service that helped you build a stronger testimony of Jesus Christ.
I definitely can’t boil all my experiences into just one. But I can say that the many sacred and spirit filled encounters I had built me. Little by little precept by precept I was changed. Through my small and humble service I became someone different. I came to understand who am I because of knowing who He is. Jesus lives and is our King.
