Stake Young Women’s Camp was held in May at Camp Knob Noster. Young women from every ward attended with hopes of nurturing friendships, making new connections, having fun, and growing spiritually. Youth Camp Leaders, referred to as YCL’s, did a fantastic job of fostering those goals by leading their assigned groups with enthusiasm and love as they participated in the many activities available at camp. Together the girls held morning and evening devotionals, served each other, played games, ate delicious food, did crafts, went swimming in the pool, performed skits, danced, hiked, sang in the trees, stayed up late talking and laughing in cabins, played a few silly pranks, and most importantly bore testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ. It was a memorable and fun camp and is considered a success for the Far West Stake.Â
